paris - latin quarter (work in progress), acrylic on canvas, 24x48This is another new painting based on a photograph I took near La Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter in Paris. I just started it today. It needs a little more compositional tweaking but I'm happy with the large figure in the foreground, especially his right eye.
This brings me to six paintings that I'm currently working on of street scenes. I think I'm starting to hit a stride with this new direction. It should keep me busy between now and the next Studio Open House, March 12th: 6PM-10PM.
