Photo Fridays: Furniture Loft

Furniture Loft (Uptown), digitally enhanced photograph, 2003
I used to live a few blocks down the street from this building. It once was a furniture warehouse. It got rehabbed a few years ago and now it's a loft condominium. There's a bar below it on the ground floor and a theater. It's just a few doors down from the Green Mill and the corner of Lawrence and Broadway, in Uptown's arts and entertainment district.

This photo is part of my colored cityscapes series where I digitally manipulate the images to create new colors and textures of cityscapes and architecture.

Hi,

If the furniture is really sturdy and it will last for years. However, there are also depressing facts as to the foregoing situation, and it is when you get tired and that after long hours of walking and driving, you still don’t see what you are looking for.

I love the colorized digital images. Keep up the good work! I'm a fan.
